Weekend for Junior Scouts

Plan ahead for a fantastic spring getaway!

Junior scouts will spend the weekend at the Cuyahoga Valley Environmental Education Center (CVEEC) while they earn badges and work towards Journeys and projects. Our trained staff will provide fun programming that uses the trails, ponds, forest, and comfortable facilities of the CVEEC.

Scouts will complete work towards new Girl Scout Journey Badges: Camper, Gardener, and Animal Habitats.  Evening activities include a staff-led night hike with campfire and a make-it, take-it spa night.

Troops will arrive on Friday evening at 6 p.m. and begin the weekend with an orientation to our center, a hearty snack, a guided night hike on the trails, and a campfire with songs and stories.  Programming begins Saturday morning and concludes with a ceremony right after lunch on Sunday. This year the girls will enjoy spa night on Saturday evening when they can learn about ways to pamper themselves with natural ingredients

All guests will stay in one of our comfortable dormitories with modern amenities.
