Music by Nature: Idle Twittering - A Flock of Flutes presents A Mother's Day Concert

Sunday, May 13th 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

French Flutist Louis Fleury (1878-1926) referred to music of the 19th century as 'idle twittering'. What's the antidote? A flute group that not only twitters the Romantic, but chirps the Baroque, tweets the Modern and whistles some Jazz. A flock of flutes from Northeast Ohio join forces for a concert accompanied by readings and poems in a testimonial to moms everywhere.

Presented by the Conservancy and the National Park Service, the popular new concert series, Music by Nature, returns this spring.

Admission: $20 / $17 for Conservancy members.  Includes a dessert reception after each concert.  Subscription series prices vary. General seating. Advance sales are available until 3 p.m. on Friday for that Sunday's show by calling 330-657-2909 ext. 100.

Performance begins at 3 p.m at Hines Hill Conference Center

On concert days, call the Cultural Arts Hotline at 330-650-4636 ext. 228 after 2 p.m. for ticket availability and severe weather cancellations.
