There's no better place to run than on the trails of Cuyahoga Valley National Park! People from all over Northeast Ohio and the nation run the trails of CVNP. Many train for the Towpath Marathon in October, which is described as “one of the most beautiful race courses in America” by Runner’s World magazine & named one of the “Top 24 Trail Runs in America” by Trail Runner Magazine.

Fall Running Series

The Conservancy has helped put on a Fall Running Series, which has grown to be an extremely popular event each year. With roughly 400 people taking part in it each year, it is quickly becoming a must-do in CVNP!

Events will be held regardless of conditions including rain, sleet and snow. Runners and walkers of all levels are welcome. This will be an age-group scored competition with points being earned in a variety of ways after each run. Age-group and top male and female series point champions will receive a unique CVNP award.

Sign up for the October series and receive:

  • A one year membership in the Conservancy for CVNP ($45 value)
  • A commemorative embroidered Nike Pullover ($60 value) - register now to guarantee you will receive your size!
  • Participation in any of the Tuesdays 6 p.m. (race) or Wednesday 6 p.m. (non-race) events plus the Full Moon run (TBD 2012)
