Love running in Cuyahoga Valley National Park? So do we. To ensure your race experiences in the valley remain top-notch-and also to ensure any proceeds from the race go directly to supporting the national park-we're introducing a new partnership with Western Reserve Racing.
Western Reserve Racing's vision is to provide runners and race directors with Ohio's finest race experience, as well as encourage exploration of local communities and park systems. To that end, Western Reserve Racing will now manage our running series here in the park, while generously donating a majority of the net proceeds from races to the Conservancy. We're excited they will provide chip timing at all future Conservancy running events.
This partnership leaves the race management to the proven experts and, most importantly, lets us channel race funds directly into vital park programs, including trail improvements, ecosystem restoration, environmental education, cultural arts programs, and concerts.
Excited about putting your dollars-and feet-to good use?

Fundraise for CVNP trails
This year participants will also be competing to raise funds for the Conservancy's TRAILS FOREVER endowment fund that will ensure Cuyahoga Valley National Park will have the resources to maintain and operate -- in perpetuity -- a world-class trail system. The TRAILS FOREVER fundraising campaign is open to everyone -- not only runners. And yes, there are prizes!
Prizes awarded to top fundraisers include a year's worth of tickets to CVNP events such as Topography at the Ledges, the popular Dinner in the Valley, our unique Heritage Series Concerts and the magical Polar Express. A TRAILS FOREVER shirt will be awarded to everyone who raises at least $50. Ask ten friends to donate $5 each and you're off to a great start!
Remember, every contribution helps! All funds go directly to maintaining, enhancing, and expanding CVNP. Our goal is to raise $10 million by 2016 and so far we have raised $1.3 million already. With your help, we'll pass that finish line.
Please consider supporting the TRAILS FOREVER campaign to preserve, protect and enhance our national park trails. It will only take a minute to register to fundraise!
