Sponsoring an Acre in CVNP

"We sponsor ParkShares acres because they enhance our enjoyment of Cuyahoga Valley National Park and because the donations support the organization, programs, and park that we love. I sponsored the acre near Indigo Lake where my (then one-year-old) daughter looked at me on a sunny Thanksgiving morning and said “Amy happy, DaDa happy?”  I felt as though I belonged to that acre on that day and now ParkShares has made it official.  We also gave acres to classes at Old Trail School, and some of my most enjoyable interactions with the school were presentations about their acres. I sincerely hope that this introduction to the park helps to form meaningful long-term connections for students with Cuyahoga Valley National Park that will lead to their future enjoyment of this truly wonderful asset. I would sponsor acres for personal reasons alone.  The fact that proceeds support the park that we love is icing on the cake.”
