Attend one or all; no long-term commitment or experience necessary. Family-friendly events, open to ages 7 and up, are denoted with a asterisk (*).
Days of Service
· Earth Day: April 22, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Help conserve biodiversity in Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CVNP) by removing exotic plants. (ages 10 and up)
RiverDay: May 19, 9 a.m. – noon.
This annual River Cleanup on RiverDay provides the opportunity to celebrate, protect and restore our National Heritage River, the Cuyahoga. Help remove trash and exotic plants within the Cuyahoga River watershed.
National Trails Day: June 2, 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Do you want to help improve CVNP's trails? Attend this Adopt-a-Trail workshop on National Trails Day to learn trail maintenance techniques, and volunteer on an actual trail sweep.
National Public Lands Day: September 29, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Habitat Restoration Sessions
- Remove exotic plants: second Thursday; 1 - 4 p.m. and fourth Saturday, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. (May – November)*
- Collect seeds from native plants: every Tuesday; 1 – 4 p.m. (August – October)*
- Plant a butterfly garden: June 16; 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Trail Maintenance
- Conduct light trail maintenance “sweeps” with Adopt-A-Trail crews: weekly year-round*
- Repair trails with Cuyahoga Valley Trails Council (moderate to strenuous): third Saturday (March – December)
