Peninsula, Ohio– The Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park, a membership-based non-profit organization that works to advance the mission of Cuyahoga Valley National Park, has recently hired Ralph J. Davila, APR, as its new Director of Public Relations and Marketing.
At the Conservancy, he will be responsible for helping promote the organization’s new brand identity and overall public relations and marketing communications plan, which includes increasing the awareness of Cuyahoga Valley National Park through various methods, including: social media, traditional and digital PR tactics and grassroots marketing techniques.
Davila is an accredited and award-winning public relations and marketing professional with 10 years of experience. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Public Relations from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Kent State University; and is working on attaining his Master’s in Public Relations and Marketing Communications from Kent as well.
He volunteers within his industry for several organizations, including his role as President-Elect for the Akron Area Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and PR and Communications Committee member for Habitat for Humanity of Summit County and the Akron Advertising Federation.
