PENINSULA, Ohio (Sept. 7, 2011) – As part of the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park, the Cuyahoga Valley Photographic Society (CVPS) sponsors monthly presentations by local, regional and national photographers, as well as workshops, photo walks and an annual show.
CVPS will be holding a photo workshop taught by Larry and Donna Ulrich, from Thursday through Sunday, Oct. 20 - 23, 2011 at Hines Hill Conference Center, located at 1403 West Hines Hill Rd. in Peninsula. Larry is a master photographer and teacher with deep knowledge of editing, digital re-mastering and printing techniques.
The schedule includes field shooting sessions, classroom sessions, group discussions, critiques, demos of printing and Photoshop instruction.
Participants can expect to learn what makes a good photograph and topics will include: exploration of techniques for finding photos out in the field, the use of light in composition, and using Photoshop as part of the creative process. Larry and Donna will help students bring light, composition and creativity together to make better photos!
The fee is $450, $395 CVPS members. Fee does not include meals, lodging, or transportation.
