Peninsula, Ohio –The creatures of the night will be out on Oct. 21 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. for the Creature Feature Festival at the Cuyahoga Valley Environmental Education Center (CVEEC).This fun family outing is an opportunity to learn more about some of the animals that go bump in the night. The festival, sponsored by Cuyahoga Valley National Park Association (CVNPA) will highlight park nightlife including bats, coyotes, owls and a variety of creepy crawlers.
The Creature Feature Festival will begin with a warm meal of chili and other hearty soups. Then families will go to a series of stations that will highlight different animals. At each station there will be hands on activities for children of all ages as well as healthy treats. The festival will also feature live demonstrations of birds of prey from the Medina Raptor Center and families will get a pumpkin to carve at the event.
Children and families are encouraged to dress up as their favorite animal for the festival.

The cost of the Creature Feature Festival is $16 per person ages 12 and up; $13 for CVNPA members; and $10 per child ages 5 to 11; children under 5 are free.
