CVNPA’s Park Place in Peninsula to hold Design Challenge

Peninsula, OH- Cuyahoga Valley National Park Association’s Park Place in Peninsula challenges you to take part in a t-shirt design competition. The winning design will embody Cuyahoga Valley National Park and be produced and sold exclusively at Park Place in Peninsula.

 After creating a unique original design, email your design including your name and daytime telephone number to Park Place in Peninsula at parkplace@windstream.net. Submission deadline is Sunday March 21st at 12:00 p.m. The winning designer will receive a $100 Park Place in Peninsula gift certificate, an Earth level CVNPA membership, recognition in CVNPA’s Park E-News and Park Place in Peninsula E-News, and a free t-shirt featuring your new design. Winning design will be announced on April 5, 2010. This competition is free and open to the public.

Park Place in Peninsula, located in downtown Peninsula between the Winking Lizard and Downtown Emporium, is a gift store and welcome center located in the heart of Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Inside you’ll find National Park apparel, books & gifts, unique pieces of natural and “re-purposed” art, photography & keepsakes from local artisans. Hours for February are Saturday and Sunday, 10:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. March hours are Wednesday through Friday 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 10:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
