Make Footsteps in Nature at the Spring Fever Eco Run 2007

Peninsula, Ohio – Cuyahoga Valley National Park Association’s (CVNPA) 3rd annual Spring Fever Eco Run 2007 will be held Saturday, May 5, 2007 at Boston Mills Ski area. This 5-mile race and 1-mile fun run through beautiful Cuyahoga Valley National Park is open to runners, walkers, families and leashed dogs.
 
Awards will be given in the 5-mile race for the top overall female and male finishers and then for the top three finishers in each age group. For more information about the race including start times, registration amounts and the loop race course, please visit www.cvnpa.org.
 
The Spring Fever Eco Run is not only a chance to stretch those legs but also gives participants an opportunity to learn about what they can do to encourage environmentally friendly habits. Eco-friendly activities include recycling old running shoes and t-shirts, offering refreshments in compostable cups and saving paper by offering registration available online at www.cvnpa.org.
