PENINSULA, Ohio (July 2012) – Cuyahoga Valley National Park and the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park wrap up this summer’s Music by Nature concert series with a performance by Solaris Wind Quintet on Sunday, August 5.
Solaris Wind Quintet formed in 1976 as ensemble-in-residence at the University of Akron. Since then, Solaris has established a reputation as one of the foremost woodwind quintets in the United States. The ensemble performs an innovative program with sparkling personality.
The August 5th concert will be held at 6:30 pm in the comfortable, air-conditioned Happy Days Lodge in Peninsula. Grounds open at 5:00 pm and patrons are encouraged to picnic before the concert and enjoy the beautiful venue in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. A dessert reception follows the performance where patrons can mingle with the musicians.
