Peninsula, Ohio - Cuyahoga Valley National Park Association (CVNPA) is proud to announce the opening of the art exhibit “Just Susie” by Susan Graham at the John F. Seiberling Gallery in the CVNPA Administrative Offices at 1403 West Hines Hill Road, Peninsula in Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CVNP).
The show, which opens November 12, 2007 and runs through January 4, 2008 with a reception on November 11, 2007 from 2 – 4 p.m. “Just Susie” is a retrospective exhibition that examines the works by Susan Graham. The exhibition, which features drawing and watercolor landscapes, spans more then 60 years of the artist’s life with one of the earliest pieces in the exhibition being a self-portrait created at age 4.
A seasoned watercolorist, Ms. Graham began her career as an oil painter, but by her early 20’s she switched to watercolors and never looked back. She is a member of numerous organizations including the Ohio Watercolor Society, the Whiskey Painters of America, and Hudson Society of Artists. Currently, she is a teacher, trustee and the treasurer of the Orange Art Center
Born in Evanston Illinois, she is now a resident of Chagrin Falls.
