Enjoy the sights and sounds of the holidays this weekend in the Village of Peninsula. The Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park is hosting our annual Members’ Weekend at Trail Mix Peninsula on December 8 and 9.

The Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park will be lighting up the holiday season at its annual favorite, Festival of Lights. The event promotes awareness for the numerous holiday, winter solstice and end-of-year traditions celebrated by cultures from across the globe.
TENDING MY GARDEN: NEW WORKS FOR THE WALL BY SUSAN SKOVE
New works by artist Susan Skove will be featured in a gallery exhibit this fall. Skove’s exhibition entitled, TENDING MY GARDEN, will be on display from November 12 through February 1, 2013, at the John F. Seiberling Gallery. OCTOBER DINNER IN THE VALLEY EXPLORES LOCAL CHEESES
The Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park continues its monthly Dinner in the Valley dinner series in October with a locally-sourced meal and cheese tasting. Each month, the Conservancy’s Dinner in the Valley series features Chef Larkin Rogers, who creates a delightful meal hosted at one of Cuyahoga Valley National Park’s extraordinary venues.
Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park Offers Planned Giving Seminar
The Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park will offer a presentation on the different ways that individuals can make a legacy gift in support of Cuyahoga Valley National Park. A panel of highly-skilled financial professionals will explore the creative options available for structuring a gift that is tailored to each guest’s unique financial circumstances. Potential donors large and small will find this presentation informative.
ANNUAL CLAMBAKE AND AUCTION EVENT SUPPORTS RESIDENTIAL ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION PROGRAM
For the past 12 years, the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park has hosted a Clambake and Auction event to support the Cuyahoga Valley Environmental Education Center (CVEEC) and its scholarship fund. The need for those funds has increased over time and this year, approximately 30% of the children who attend the CVEEC’s four-day, three-night residential program will receive scholarship support
SEEDS OF LEARNING FARM PROGRAMS HELP FAMILIES GET IN TOUCH WITH LOCAL FOODS AND FARMS
SEEDS OF LEARNING, a collaborative educational initiative between the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Countryside Conservancy, Hale Farm & Village and the National Park Service was developed to engage families in exploring historic farm properties and learning about locally-produced foods, sustainable agriculture and farming history in the Cuyahoga Valley.
