SUMMARY:Native Planting Drop In - October 19th
DESCRIPTION:Looking for a way to get involved at Cuyahoga Valley National Park? Join us for our native plant drop in.\n\n\nDo you want to make a difference in Cuyahoga Valley National Park? Come out to our native planting drop-in on October 19th! We will be planting native species of grasses\, wildflowers\, shrubs and tress in order to improve habitats plants and wildlife. Your efforts will help improve soil quality\, restore native plants\, and create better habitat for native wildlife. \nSuitable for ages 10 and up. Volunteers who are 10-15 years of age must have parent or guardian supervision at the project site. Volunteers who are 16-17 years of age are only required to have a parent or guardian sign their Volunteer Agreement form. \n**Advanced registration is required for all individuals. Group sizes are small\, and have a strict attendance cap. Only volunteers who pre-registered will be permitted to participate. Outdoor work gloves and eye protection will be provided\, but to reduce contact\, volunteers are permitted to bring personal equipment. Face coverings are optional for individuals who are fully vaccinated. We will provide face coverings and hand sanitizer to those who need it. Rami is an Israeli singer songwriter who has been performing with his band throughout Israel and the US for the past 15 years. After releasing three Hebrew albums\, Rami is introducing his first album in the English language. His devoted audience backed the production of his latest two albums through two very successful crowdfunding efforts. \nHaving traveled extensively\, Rami sees his work as a way of connecting to and elevating the everyday experience of people everywhere. In 2019\, Rami was chosen to serve as a mentor for local Ugandan artists by the Wanji Project\, with a program finale in the Ugandan National Theater. \nRami headlined a weekly segment on the Israeli Sport Channel’s popular morning show for 2 years\, during which he wrote and sang a new song that commented on current events.
