Join us for a summer fundraiser for Cuyahoga Valley National Park!

Saturday, June 19, 2021

Join the Conservancy this summer for a new and fun way to celebrate and support Cuyahoga Valley National Park! This past year, we’ve witnessed just how important and precious greenspace is to our livelihoods. Help the Conservancy raise funds to ensure we are able to protect and preserve Cuyahoga Valley National Park now and for future generations to enjoy.

*We will follow current CDC and National Park Service guidelines around the wearing of masks and social distancing.

How it will work:

Your tickets ($250 per person/$150 tax deductible or $500 per couple/$300 tax-deductible) include everything you need to enjoy a gourmet picnic, including:

  • Conservancy picnic backpack with a gourmet 4-course meal for two,
  • Wine,
  • A mock-tail,
  • A Conservancy picnic blanket so you can spread out, relax, and enjoy the beautiful evening (yours to keep!),
  • A personal lantern to light the way as dusk settles in,
  • Campfires and s’mores as the night sky unfolds.

Pick up your picnic basket at Howe Meadow (4040 Riverview Road, Peninsula, OH 44264) between 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2021. Follow the signs for pick-up – we will welcome you, check you in and load your basket(s) in your car, or if you choose to join us in the meadow for music and mingling, you can stake out your spot, relax and have a socially-distanced dinner with like-minded Conservancy supporters and friends.

Enjoy a pre- or post-dinner hike to Indigo Lake or the Beaver Marsh. Camp chairs will be available (limited supply so consider bringing along a few of your own). Meadow Lead Sponsors will also have designated seating under our big tent with Extraordinary Spaces hosts to assist with your needs. Restrooms on site. Brief remarks from Conservancy and NPS leadership at 7:30 p.m., music will continue until 10:30 p.m.
