Our approach to teaching and learning is expansive and ever-evolving. The Conservancy is committed to providing opportunities to enhance your connection to Cuyahoga Valley National Park that allow you to deepen your knowledge about the park’s natural wonders and history through workshops, public lectures or discussions, and art in the park (Seiberling Gallery, Cuyahoga Valley Photographic Society).

Come out for a day or spend the whole weekend in Ohio’s National Park to expand your knowledge. The Cuyahoga Valley Institute is a series of adult experiences that provide meaningful immersive opportunities to engage with the valley’s natural surroundings of Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

Seiberling Gallery in the Park

Named in honor of Congressman, photographer and CVNP advocate John F. Seiberling, the gallery features exhibits by local artists. Free and open to the public Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at 1403 W. Hines Hill Road, Peninsula, OH 44264.

About: Debbie DiCarlo’s photography exhibit showcases the visual cornucopia of our natural environment. The imagery was created over several years and in many locales. The works highlight her fascination with the diverse beauty of our marvelous natural world.

About: Julie C Brannigan’s passion for the outdoors started as a young child hiking Cuyahoga Valley National Park, with her family. This Cleveland based environmental photographer has turned her outdoor passion into community awareness with her current body of work, Beauty and the Beast, an examination of Ohio’s top invasive plants artistically repurposed.

Cuyahoga Valley Photographic Society

The Cuyahoga Valley Photographic Society is an affinity group of the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The Photographic Society promotes CVNP and the photographic arts by providing educational workshops and presentations throughout the year.
