The Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park is a non-profit organization created to engage public support for the park and provide services to enhance public use and enjoyment of the park. The Conservancy aspires to engage the public as advocates, volunteers, and philanthropic supporters to ensure that Cuyahoga Valley National Park achieves its full benefit to the citizens of Northeast Ohio and the nation. AmeriCorps Stewards Individual Placement VISTA Position working with the Conservancy for CVNP

Through the Stewards Individual Placement Program, Stewards AmeriCorps Vista Members get a unique and special opportunity to work with non-profit organizations through programs that focus on leadership development, community outreach and education, foster environmental stewardship, and much more!

The Conservancy for CVNP has been approved for a second year to promote the program of Diversity Equity and Inclusion Stewards VISTA. This position will work with us in aiding in the implementation of the Employment Pipeline Program, support the need for structural change and an internal culture with a DEI focus and will assist in the preparation and submission of grant proposals to secure future funding to sustain both the Employment Pipeline and internal DEI efforts. Additionally, they will assist in developing the internal strategic plan and in cultivating relationships with local school districts, Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), local colleges and universities, and local equity-based organizations.
