Current Capital Projects

The Conservancy partners with the National Park Service to identify projects that need private funding to realize park enhancement projects.

BOSTON MILL VISITOR CENTER: Coming in 2019. Each year, Cuyahoga Valley National Park welcomes over two million visitors, with 20 percent coming from out-of-state. However, the park lacks an essential piece to welcome all these people: a full-service, central visitor center. Soon, that’ll change for good.  Learn more about this project>

EAST RIM TRAIL SYSTEM: The first section of the East Rim trail system officially opened in spring 2016—the first mountain biking trail in our national park. Today, seven more miles are in the works! Construction on Phase 2 is already underway, forming the brand-new Lamb Loop and Edson Run trails. When complete, mountain bikers and hikers will have nearly 10 miles to explore on the East Rim trail system. See what’s happening now

Endowment Gifts

Forever help the Conservancy manifest programs and projects that enhance Ohio’s national park.

Endowment income provides stable, permanent funding that supports the teams and initiatives that are the core of our work. It enables the Conservancy to continue its vital work in uncertain financial times. An endowment gift is an opportunity for friends of the Conservancy to leave an enduring legacy by endowing the core elements of our mission. Gifts can be directed to the TRAILS FOREVER Legacy Fund, Cuyahoga Valley Environmental Education Center Funds, or general operations.
