Make a Tribute Gift

The Conservancy is honoring Deb Yandala with the establishment of two funds to recognize her dedication and years of service: The Deb Yandala Legacy Fund and Oxbow Meadows Project.

The Deb Yandala Legacy Fund
Under Deb’s leadership, the Conservancy mindfully has grown from a budget of $1.5M to $8.5M. Ongoing operational support for the administration and continued growth of the Conservancy is a priority. Donor gifts will fuel the next stage of the Conservancy’s development under new leadership and provide support that will allow for continued excellence and growth.

Oxbow Meadows Project
In September 2021, the Conservancy heroically stepped up to purchase 213 acres of the former Brandywine Golf Course for the purpose of conserving and preserving the property to be part of CVNP and increasing access to the park and the Cuyahoga River. Through the purchase, the Conservancy retained 15 acres to activate the riverfront property and build a potential revenue stream to support upkeep of the property.

It was Deb’s leadership that started this vision. Donor gifts will support the Oxbow Meadows Project to fund the final design and implementation of the Conservancy’s land. The design concept for the property includes river overlooks, trails, a nature play space and potential facilities to encourage access to the river. Plans are underway this summer for a temporary trail and parking area so visitors may begin enjoying the property.
