An Extraordinary Celebration with Cocktails, Twilit Trails, Gourmet Dining & Campfires Beneath the Stars!

You’re invited to Topography as we commemorate the 50th anniversary of Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CVNP). The evening begins at Howe Meadow with a short hike up a wooded path, a welcome cocktail in hand and live music in the air. The trail ends at Indigo Lake, where you’ll enjoy a curated selection of hors d’oeuvres leading up to a one-of-a-kind dining experience as the sun gently sets beyond calm lake waters.  Then, finish the evening with good friends around a crackling campfire.

Proceeds go toward the Trails Now Fund, which provides crucial funding for trail maintenance, visitor amenities and new trailheads within CVNP.

For information on sponsorship, please contact Dan Blakemore, VP of Philanthropy, at 330.657.2909 ext. 133 or by email at dblakemore@forcvnp.org.

Dinner

Roasted Beet Salad
Farm greens, mixed local beets, pickled beets + blueberries, spiced sunflower clusters, goat cheese + rhubarb vinaigrette served with Herbed Focaccia w/ black salt + whipped Minerva butter.

Wine Pairing: Terra d’Oro Chenin Blanc/Viognier. Established in 1973, Terra d’Oro was key in helping reestablish Amador’s reputation for fine wine. A lively, refreshing and well-balanced wine, with aromas of honeydew melon, grapefruit, nectarine, orange blossom and wet stone that leads into flavors of peach and mango, followed by hints of lemon curd, quince and nectarine. Beautiful, crisp, mineral finish.

Dee Jay’s Smoked Short Rib + Seared Walleye
Grilled scallion + asparagus toasted orzo salad, whole leaf parsley + romesco sauce.

Wine Pairing: David Synum Pinot Noir. The first to produce a single vineyard Pinot Noir in Russian River Valley, the Bynum heritage lives on in their hand-crafted wines produced from the region. Ripe red cherry and toasty oak aromas give way to complex mélange of spice and fruit. An elegant finish of classic cherry compote and savory notes.
