Join us March 13 for a discussion with Ben McMillan from Rubber City Reuse on composting and waste reduction at home.

We have all heard of composting, but may not understand the importance. According to the United States Environmental Protection Agency, food scraps and yard waste together currently make up more than 30% of what we throw away. These items could be composted instead to keep them out of landfills.

Learn about the importance of composting, tips on keeping a healthy compost pile as well as ways to reduce waste at home.
