Introducing: Facebook Fundraising for the Conservancy

We’re excited to announce the option to support the Conservancy through Facebook Fundraising! Support the Conservancy and share your love for CVNP with your entire friends list. Facebook offers an easy way to support a cause you care about with just a few clicks.

Note: You must have an active Facebook account to host a Facebook fundraiser.

How to Set it Up

Step 1

On your homepage/timeline, click the area to write a post, then click on the ellipses to see more options.

Select “Support Nonprofit”.

Step 3

Search for the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Make sure you see our logo to verify it is the right Conservancy.

Step 4

Once you select the Conservancy, write a message where it says “What’s on your mind?” to let your friends know why you would like them to join you in donating. Talk about why you love the park! You can mention your favorite trail or picnic spot. If you need some inspiration, here are some ideas to get started:

  • “Have you visited the new visitor center in Cuyahoga Valley National Park? The Conservancy raised more than $7 million to fund that project!”
  • “Like many of you, I have spent a lot of these past few months exploring new trails in CVNP. The Conservancy raised more than $97,000 last year for CVNP to use on trail maintenance. Every dollar helps!”

Hit “post” and be sure to thank all of your friends who donate!
