Cuyahoga Valley Photo Society | Preparing Your Images for Print and More

Many of us shoot, edit, post … and move on. But what if you want to print that special photo? “When you actually print your work, everything changes,” said David Shockey, co-owner of Capture On Labs.

David’s presentation will start with advice on planning, light, and composition. Then he’ll shift to the part most photographers skip: preparing the files for print. He’ll show examples and talk through what to look for before you hit print and how to refine your files so they actually scale well. He’ll also discuss types of paper and explain the different characteristics of each.
