Opening Reception at The Gallery | Spirit Wings: Tales Told in Color

April 18 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

A graphic for an art exhibition in CVNP at the Gallery titled Spirit Wings: Tales Told in Color. Two artworks, a tribal mask and an illustration of a colorful mythical creature are on the graphic with opening reception information.

Join us for the opening reception of Spirit Wings: Tales Told in Color, a new exhibition at The Gallery curated by Yana Mikho-Misho, featuring works by artists Sylvia Munodawafa and Dinara Mirtalipova.

Munodawafa’s sculptural masks and abstract paintings draw from African spiritual traditions while Mirtalipova’s vibrant illustrations bring mythic narratives and folk imagery to life. Together, their work celebrates the enduring power of art to connect heritage, imagination, and the natural world.
