Nature Rx: Art & Mindfulness Walk
September 10 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Event Navigation

Beginning at The Gallery in Boston, this mindfulness walk will first take time to explore the Edges of Perception exhibit currently on display. This exhibit features work from three photographers, including Robert Glenn Ketchum.
From 1986 to 1988, Ketchum documented the Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area (now Cuyahoga Valley National Park). Through this work, he advocated for environmental conservation and the protection of overlooked landscapes and ecosystems.
Edges of Perception—created in partnership with the Museum of Creative Human Art—expands on the Akron Art Museum’s exhibition of Ketchum’s photographs by placing two Northeast Ohio photographers, Barry Underwood and Jacob Koestler, in conversation with his critically acclaimed project.
After spending time observing the photographs, we will continue along the Towpath for a mindfulness walk led by Maryann Wohlwend of Studio 121. This walk will be under 1 mile in length.
