Cancelled: Nature Rx | The Caregiver Manifesto

May 17 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Treat yourself to a unique mindfulness experience in Cuyahoga Valley National Park!

Caregivers are often the ones holding everything together—at work, at home, and for the people who rely on them most. This morning experience is designed to hold you.

Guided by therapist, coach, and mindfulness teacher Shannon Speaks, this Nature Rx session blends time in nature with structured reflection to support restoration, clarity, and intention. Through a series of thoughtfully guided experiences, you’ll explore your caregiving story (past, present, and future) while gently reconnecting with your own needs, energy, and direction.

Participants will be guided in creating a personal Caregiver Manifesto—a clear, compassionate statement of how you want to show up in your caregiving and your life.

This is not about doing more. It’s about including yourself in the care you give.

What to Expect:

  • Guided nature-based reflection experiences
  • Gentle, accessible mindfulness practices
  • Structured prompts to support clarity and insight
  • Creation of your personal Caregiver Manifesto
  • Light breakfast and time to connect
  • Self care take home kit
