The Artist Talk | Spirit Wings: Tales Told in Color

June 13 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

A graphic for an art exhibition in CVNP at the Gallery titled Spirit Wings: Tales Told in Color. Two artworks, a tribal mask and an illustration of a colorful mythical creature are on the graphic with information for an artist talk even on June 13 from 1 pm to 3 pm at the Boston Gallery.

Join us for an artist talk on Saturday, June 13, to hear from the artists whose work is featured in Spirit Wings: Tales Told in Color, currently on exhibit at the Boston Gallery.

Curated by Yana Mikho-Misho with works by artists Sylvia Munodawafa and Dinara Mirtalipova, this exhibition unites diverse media in a vibrant dialogue of folklore, symbolism, and nature, celebrating culture and imagination.

This conversation brings the exhibition’s artists together to share insights into their practices and the stories behind their work. Through sculptural masks, painting, and richly patterned illustration, Munodawafa and Mirtalipova explore nature, folklore, and cultural identity in a rich and meaningful dialogue.
