Friday March 10
7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Although the prehistory of the Cuyahoga Valley spans more than 13,000 years, historically very little is known about the ancient peoples who once called this area home. Archaeologist Phil Wanyerka, an Associate College Lecturer at Cleveland State University, has been exploring and conducting archaeological investigations at numerous prehistoric and historic sites throughout the Cuyahoga Valley for more than 30 years. Join Dr. Wanyerka as he discusses and highlights the culture, history, and importance of the Cuyahoga Valley in the overall archaeology of Northeast Ohio.

In 1989, the body of author Edward Abbey was buried somewhere in the western desert in a place where "no one would find it."
